The Gamefisher2 is based from
Flamingo in the summer months (April
through December) and Carrillo Bay
in the winter (January through
April). While all species are caught
year around out of Flamingo, the
ocean conditions and Sailfish bite are
generally more favorable out of
Carrillo Bay from January through
April.
Offshore/Inshore:
Full Day Offshore charters with the
Gamefisher2 include: Captain &
crew, snacks, lunches, soft drinks,
beer & bottled water, as well as all
bait & tackle. Normal departure time
is 7:30 a.m. with the boat returning
to port at approximately 5:00 p.m.
Fishing grounds are anywhere from 5
to 40 miles out.
Half Day Offshore trips are
available but generally not
recommended. Not recommended because
it can take a half-day in some cases
just to locate a body of fish,
particularly if they are a good way
offshore. This leaves little time
for actually fishing.
Half Day Inshore trips go up to 8
miles out and along the coastline
and rock piles. Species fished for
are: Wahoo, Roosterfish, Dorado,
Tuna, Snapper and host of others.
Half day trips are approximately 4 ½
hours. Snack, drinks, bait and
tackle are included on half-day
charters.

2010:
Johnny Edmondson, fishing on
his own this day, caught a
GRAND SLAM! He released 1
sailfish for 4 bites out of
6 raised. He then went on to
release 2 blue marlin,
estimated to be 250 lb and
300 lb and a little 50 lb
striped marlin. Johnny also
caught 5 yellow fin tuna
that he shared with the
Captain and crew. Thank you
for a great day Johnny!....
